The "Hepcat" strings are the newest product by Slap Strings. Their tension is a medium between the "Vintage" and "Deluxe" strings. The E and A strings are non-metal wound. This assures their absolutely gut-like sound with great power and sustain.
The G and D strings are thinner than those of the other sets (except "Slapper's Delight") and have excellent playability. The "Hepcat" strings are easily combined with other Slap Strings. They are our favorites for Rockabilly but are also well suited for jazz bassists looking for the warm gut sound.
